A ventricle is a large chamber in the heart that pumps blood. There are two ventricles in the heart, one on the left side and one on the right side.
The left ventricle pumps blood to the body, and the right ventricle pumps blood to the lungs. The ventricles are made of muscle, and they are very strong.
