A ventricle is a large chamber in the heart that pumps blood. There are two ventricles in the heart, one on the left side and one on the right side.
The left ventricle pumps blood to the body, and the right ventricle pumps blood to the lungs. The ventricles are made of muscle, and they are very strong.
The ventricles are important for pumping blood throughout the body. Without them, the blood would not be able to circulate and the body would not get the oxygen and nutrients it needs.
The heart has four ventricles.
