Implementation

Main Teaching

Option 1: (Class/supported revision)

Go through the presentation, pausing at each summary slide and question review slide. Ask the students to complete the revision questions in their books as you progress through the lesson. 

Option 2: (Independent revision)

Keywords:

  1. Ask the students to turn to the beginning of the topic in their exercise books. Ask them to go through and underline 3 different keywords from each lesson.
  2. Ask the students to choose 5-10 words and write their definitions.
  3. Using at least 5 keywords, ask the students to write a unit summary paragraph. 

Questions: Then, ask the students to complete the revision questions on the board (these will be a compilation of all the questions from option 1). 

Last Minute Preparation: Use the test preparation slide to consolidate final revision.

Mission Assignment

After completing their revision, ask the students to complete the end of topic test in exam conditions.

Differentiation is done on the lesson slides and handouts

Plenary

Students are to swap papers with their peers. Share answers on the board and review results.
