Implementation

Starter

Ask the students to think about global warming and what causes it. Ask them to list both things that cause global warming to occur and what effects global warming has on earth.

Main Teaching

Answer questions and take part in activities during the presentation. Stop the presentation at the relevant slides: Talk Partners; AfLs; Songs. Take part in the Choral Response Questions activity (see Assessment section) after the Keywords/Rocket Words slide.

Produce a poster to explain the greenhouse effect including sources of carbon dioxide and methane.

Examine temperature graphs and answer questions related to greenhouse effect and global warming
